I love the ease of moving into storage at National Storage Fortitude Valley. Especially the SELF SERVICE OPTION which customers are allowed to self check-in, use the trolley and store their belongings at anytime even if the staff are not present. It provides ease of comfort especially when i have more stuffs or belongings to add. It is super easy. Very convienient.

Apart from the alarm going off all the time in the wine place. It looks like its a busy business. Just watch the tree if you have a big truck. It makes a huge mess on the road.

Rented a storage unit when Covid hit, took my belongings out just recently in September when I got back on my feet. It was good at the start, storage rent started on $189.00 a month by the time I left it was at $291.00 a month and was going up to $325.00 a month but luckily I left before the next increase. I wouldn’t be getting a storage unit near the city again… too expensive. Also this has nothing to do with national storage but the insurance company they use. I just used their insurance instead of getting my own. But a pipe has burst which was a Brisbane city council issue. I’m lucky that I was notified of that from a NS worker…. I’m not sure if anything would have been done other wise from the insurance…. I was waiting a ridiculous amount of time to receive my payout from them(over a year)It got to the stage where I had to write an email threatening them with legal action. National storage unfortunately couldn’t help with this as the insurance they outsource. So if you do get a rental here be prepared to pay more then you would for the outter city areas and also get your own insurance don’t insure with national storage…. You’ll be waiting for ever and they’ll give you hundreds of excuses as too why you haven’t received your money if you. Red to make an insurance claim.
