National Storage - Lawson

I rented a unit which offered a 50% discount for the first month. I then decided it was too small so changed to a bigger one which also offered a discount, 25% I think. The amount I paid for the smaller one was supposed to transfer over to the bigger one thus reducing the price for that one. I was charged $168 for the smaller unit and $313 for the larger unit. I was advised to apply for a refund for the amount I paid for the smaller unit but received nothing, nor had any communication from National Storage. I spoke to Andrew and Alicia at the Lawson facility and they advised the 'refund' had been applied to next month's rent. The thing is, there won't be a 'next month' as I only needed the unit for one month. Andrew and Alicia were very helpful and friendly but unable to organised a refund. I thought it was very cheeky of National Storage to apply the refund to the next month without confirming there would be a next month. The facility is clean and very easy to access, with plenty of room for parking, but I would like the refund to be a refund and not disappear into the ether.

National Storage are professional, reliable, reasonably priced. The units are dry, well lit, secure, clean, easily accessible. I recommend them highly. Previously we had rented a storage unit across the road with another company and had the opposite experience; they were rude, did not tell us about needing to take out insurance personally, our unit leaked and everything was ruined either from the water or from mould. They told us they were not responsible and we were on our own. Definitely go with National Storage.

Very friendly and accommodating,as my situation was so rushed and they're booked sometimes for a month at the least. They're the only company that suited my needs and helped me from the start. I'm not technology savvy, but the team helped me with all of it down to the removalist that they use. Cannot say THANKYOU enough. Jan
